Entries invited for February Sale

Our next General Auction takes place at St Andrew's Hall in Norwich on Thursday, 12th of February 2009. We are currently inviting good quality entries including:
Antiques and collectables, glass, ceramics, silver, furniture, jewellery, watches, books, pictures, stamps, medals, militaria, coins, musical instruments, vintage and/or designer clothing, etc. We will also accept modern items with a commercial value, for example flat-screen televisions, gaming consoles, mobile phones, etc.
Selling your stuff through Barnes Auctioneers couldn't be simpler - our service is friendly and we will do our best to advise. In the midst of economic gloom, selling a few unwanted items might be just the boost your bank balance needs.
Buying and selling premium for the sale is 10% with a £1 lotting fee on each item entered. So, if your item sells for £30 you will receive £26.
Please contact us on 01603 304337 or 07917 654721 to discuss your individual requirements or email us barnesauctioneers@btinternet.com for more information including a full copy of our terms and conditions.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year! We hope that 2009 isn't quite as gloomy as the forecasts predict...
We are in the process of updating our calendar for 2009 (see link above right) which includes The Cloisters Fair tomorrow so do pop in and see us. There won't be a General Auction this month due to circumstances beyond our control, but we will be back on the 12th of February with a good 300+ lots. This year will see us out and about as we conduct our first house clearance auction in twenty years. That is something you cannot afford to miss so make sure that you re-visit this site regularly for details.
